The Wall Street Journal published an opinion piece by Rabbi Aryeh Spero defending capitalism. I was personally unaware that capitalism needed defending.
 
The article is, in my view, a very slip-shod and somewhat insulting piece far beneath the standards of the WJS (or perhaps not). I felt the need to respond to it, so I did.
 
I’ve pasted the article below in it’s entirety and in the red type you can see my response.
 
While I certainly am aware that this is outside the typical scope of a songwriter’s website, I certainly feel that my response has credibility and standing not only as a Christian but also as a citizen enjoying the benefits of free speech. For right now, comments are left on.
